The Uranus conjunct Pluto in Virgo sub Generation

The conjunction of Uranus and Pluto peaked in the years 1965 and 1966. However, broadly speaking, those people born a year before the exact conjunction, and those born a few years after, will share some of the same qualities. (That is people born between 1964-1968).

Pluto-Uranians are the power babies of the twentieth century! There is virtually nothing these people cannot achieve, if they put their minds to it. As a sub generation these people have incarnated with specific life-missions. Their collective mission may be regarded as of touching the depths and bringing forth what they find therein into the light. Qualities that such explorers of the inner may develop include those of: shamanism, telepathy, mediumship, clairvoyancy, healing talents, technological innovation and genius. In extreme cases, there may be an absolute deviance from the norm and even crazed anarchist or anti-social tendencies. Others may become obsessed with the “correct” (Virgo) way of fitting into the group/collective (Uranus) and therefore actualise their beingness as “obsessive conformists”! The main commonality between Pluto-Uranians is the intensity of focus of these types.

People born during the mid 1960's have experience of the process of a total dying and re-birth of the self over and over. Many “incarnations” are lived and experienced in one life-time, but always at a higher level than before. What is taboo or off limits? Where are you not ‘allowed’ to go?

These people as a collectivity have been just about everywhere, whether on this planet or; in spirit, in virtually any other dimension of the universe/God Self imaginable. It has often been claimed by various astrologers that many of this sub-generation in a previous incarnation were present at the final destruction of the “mythical” continent of Atlantis. It is thought that some were working with the forces of evolution, whilst others were tampering with these.

Pluto-Uranian people bridge the forces of chaos with that of evolution. They are the healers of that which is at odds with itself, through having to fight for a greater level of understanding and harmony on the inner levels. Much that would provide a backlash to the refinement of consciousness universally is transformed through the empowering work of this particular sub-generation.

Having gone through their first Saturn Returns (coming into realisation of place in society) during 1994 - March 1996, the sense of participation and urgency towards personal and global change and transformation is quickening in the Pluto-Uranian sub generation. These people constantly push the barriers back and often-times power right through them.

Pluto-Uranian people have an intuitive understanding of much that has preceded them, through the innate ability to access universal knowledge banks in the moment. And they take all this precedent knowledge and wisdom further and onwards to new levels. Such levels are hardly dreamed of by those who have laid the foundations for this coming New Age of wisdom. If society does not support, such types often appear to be as misfits and dropouts, or revolutionaries and anarchists. But this appearance is illusion, a biding of time until a readiness to help facilitate the human movement into new dimensions of consciousness is achieved.

Recognition of the real role of sub-generations leads to healing and understanding. Some are here not to conform or to fit in but to radicalise. Sometimes shockingly. Other-times through brilliant unconventionality. We can not have a new world of wisdom under old paradigms and these people, like the Ancient Greek philosophical schools*, teach of a new way. (*For example, Plato's teacher, the wacky and contrary Socrates; or the anarchistic, naturalistic Diogenes of the Hellenistic philosophical period). Such understanding entails a total venture into the unknown, whereby some fly through life through sheer determination and others seem to flounder in the muck of society; waiting, waiting to emerge into the new dawn which they nourish in their hearts.

Being a 1965 baby myself, I have some understanding of what I am writing about. I have met and read the charts of many people born with the Uranus-Pluto Conjunction and not one of these people is typical to what you might expect. They all seem to be deviants in one sense or another and as such have a very progressive and unusual way of looking at life and society. Few are doing what the stereotypical parent would have wanted or hoped for. But over time their parents have learnt to accept the, from their viewpoint, more or less total unconventionality and oftentimes quite "far out" spirituality of their children. Often-times the children seem like they come from a different planet to their parents, which perhaps they do.

The early erratic behaviour of the mid 1960's children, which was expressed in their teen years and early twenties, was necessary to develop an understanding and fine-tuning of the workings with energy on all it's levels. As Pluto-Uranians get older, master vibrations start to be more consciously directed as and when necessary. These people are never the same, but hold within the key to all the dimensions of beingness and thus possess great strength and vulnerability. (The Chiron paradox which is what Pluto-Uranians work with on the healing level).

Pluto-Uranians can be totally self-destructive and totally empowering. They can be in the grip of pure dark, but not controlled, and then completely in the light - although such vacillation is more a younger dilemma. The purpose of all this is to learn how to bring the dark to the light or the light to the dark. That is transforming the negative into the positive or else bringing positive solutions to the negative. As they have become older, Pluto-Uranians have become more balanced in their intensity. That is more purposeful and gripped less by the emotional nature, although such types are still very emotionally charged.

The conjunction is in Virgo, the sign of self-improvement. But this is not a personal conjunction. Transpersonal planets are involved and the motivation is thus improvement of the SELF. The ONE SELF. The self which seems to be so divided and at odds. The self which is so full of contradictions. The self which fears the unknown. The message of this sub-generation is that there is nothing to fear in the unknown and that if we just considered things a little bit more deeply, we would realise that everything is unknown, or has an unknown component inherent within. For when we get too comfortable in our lives and take things too much for granted, you can bet the universe will remind us that “there is more to the picture than meets the eye”. Through acknowledgment of the unknown dimensions and workings in life, we can move out of fear and into fluidity. This is a fluidity where virtually anything is possible, because here we are swimming in the sea of all possibilities, and thus intent and purpose can be so much more vividly manifested.

It is only by embracing the greater that we can allow the synthesis of the known and unknown to be harmoniously attuned and the illusionary veil of separateness to dispel.
